Canada Place is the attractive white building located at the east end of Vancouver's Coal Harbour. Is is identifiable from its distinctive roof that resembles the sails from a sailboat.
The architecturally attractive complex was built for the 1986 Vancouver World's Fair.
The Seabus, Skytrain and Canada Line metro systems all converge at Canada Place (i.e. Waterfront Station).
The new Convention Centre building is located directly west of Canada Place.
Visitors to either building are rewarded with wonderful views of Vancouver Harbour, Burrard Inlet, Grouse Mountain, Stanley Park and North Vancouver.
