Steveston, British Columbia is a picturesque village located 20 km (35 minutes) south of downtown Vancouver and 12 km from the Vancouver International Airport.
Situated at the mouth of the mighty Fraser River, the town is home to Canada's largest fishing fleet as well as some of Vancouver's best restaurants.
Visit Steveston to feast on fresh BC salmon or prawns at one of its many fine restaurants.
Whale watching and boat tours up the Fraser River to New Westminster are also available.
From Garry Point Park, visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll or vigorous run along the West Dyke. The dyke is beautiful at any time of year but particularly nice when the North Shore mountains are snow-covered.
