The city of New Westminster is located on the north shore of the Fraser
River, southeast of downtown Vancouver. A number of hotels and motels
are located in the community. A riverboat casino attracts visitors
from around the lower mainland.
The Vancouver Sky Train (rapid transit system) connects New Westminster
to downtown Vancouver.
